THE LES ROCHESJIN JIANG APPLICATION PROCESS IN 9 SIMPLE STEPS - ALL PROGRAMS

1. The Applicant Sends Their Application To LRJJ Admissions By Email
The applicant sends by email to LRJJ Admissions a completed Application Form* with all required documents see the Admission Requirements and the Proof of Application Fee Payment** (a bank slip or transfer of funds confirmation) with the applicant’s name indicated on it.

*The Fillable PDF Application Form can be completed on a computer by typing in the fillable sections of the form, before it is printed and signed. After the Application Form has been signed, it should be scanned and forwarded by email to LRJJ Admissions.

** The required payment method is by bank transfer. Please Contact LRJJ Admissions for the bank account details.

2. The Applicant Receives Confirmation Of Their Acceptance Into The Program & Sends LRJJ Admissions Their Application File By Mail
LRJJ Admissions receives and reviews* the application file, then confirms that it is ready to be sent by mail. Upon confirmation, the applicant sends the application file by mail (registered mail is recommended).

*The review and approval process time varies between applicants and may take up to 3 weeks.

3. The Applicant Receives Their Acceptance Package By Email
LRJJ Admissions sends the successful applicant their Acceptance Package by email only.

The Acceptance Package includes the following documents:
a. The Acceptance Letter
b.The Visa Authorization Procedure
c.The Invoice (Includes LRJJ Bank Account Details)
d. Arrival To Shanghai & Check-In On Campus Information
e. Campus and Student Life Information
f.The Pre-Arrival Check List
g.The Arrival Confirmation Form
h.The LRJJ Invitation
i.The LRJJ Information Booklet

4. The Accepted Applicant Completes Their Registration For The Program By Paying The Total Fees On Time
The accepted applicant should carefully read the Acceptance Package and keep it for future reference. To confirm their place in the program, the total fees must be paid in accordance with the deadline as stated in the Invoice (the deadline for the total fees payment is 60 days before the program start date).

Recommendation: The accepted applicant should send LRJJ Admissions the Proof of Total Fees Payment (a bank slip or transfer of funds confirmation) with the accepted applicant’s name indicated on it.

5. The Student Receives Confirmation Of The Receipt Of Payment From LRJJ Admissions
Once the LRJJ Finance Department confirms their receipt of the total fees, LRJJ Admissions will forward this confirmation to the registered student by email only; and also inform them of the date that the Welcome Package, together with the visa support documents, will be sent to their home address.

6. The Student Receives The Welcome Package From LRJJ Admissions By Email And Mail
LRJJ Admissions sends the student their Welcome Package by both email and registered mail (tracking details for the Welcome Package are provided in the email) no later than 45 days before the program start date.

The Welcome Package includes the following documents:
a. The Acceptance Letter
b.The Welcome Letter
c.The Visa Authorization Procedure
d. Arrival to Shanghai and Check-in on Campus Information
e. Medical Exam Procedure Information
f.The Pre-Arrival Check List
g.The Arrival Confirmation Form
h. The Medical Insurance Certificate (PDF copy is not provided)
i. The Welcome To Shanghai Brochure
j. The Visa Support Documents:
- The original copy of the JW202 Form (PDF copy is not provided)
- The original copy of the Visa Attestation Letter in English (PDF copy is not provided)
- The original copy of the Visa Attestation Letter in Chinese (PDF copy is not provided)

7. The Student Inquires About The List Of Documents Required To Apply For A ‘Student Visa X1’
The student should carefully read the information provided in the PDF copy of the Welcome Package, paying special attention to the ‘Visa Authorization Procedure’ section. Afterwards, the student should promptly contact the Chinese Consulate/Embassy in his/her home country to inquire about the list of documents required to apply for a ‘Student Visa X1’ (the list of documents required to apply for a ‘Student Visa X1’ varies between countries).

Important: should the student wish to apply for the ‘Student Visa X1’ in a country other than their home country, they must check their eligibility with the Chinese Consulate/Embassy in the selected country of application.

8. The Student Applies For A ‘Student Visa X1’
The student receives the envelope containing the original copy of the Welcome Package together with the visa support documents by registered mail. The student applies for the ‘Student Visa X1’ at the Chinese Consulate/Embassy by presenting the original copies of the visa support documents in addition to any other documents as requested by the Chinese Consulate/Embassy of the country of application.

9. The Student Confirms Their Arrival Confirmation Form Details With LRJJ Admissions
Once the student has successfully obtained the ‘Student Visa X1’, the completed Arrival Confirmation Form should be forwarded to LRJJ Admissions by email only. LRJJ Admissions will confirm by email the schedule for collection of the student from the airport with transfer to the accommodation in downtown Shanghai, in accordance with the information stated on the student’s Arrival Confirmation Form.

Programs Application Deadlines:
There are 3 intakes per year into the programs at Les Roches Jin Jiang: February, September, and November. The main round of applications for all programs close 2 months before the official start date of the preferred intake.

Late Applications:
LRJJ Admissions continues to accept late programs applications after the main round of applications has closed. Applicants should Contact LRJJ Admissions directly who will advise as to whether there are places left on the selected program, and inform the applicant of any changes to the admissions process for late applicants.
